Aims & Objectives: By the end of the course, participants should have gained the following:
- An understanding of the currently available ceramics and their indications and contraindications in clinical practice.
- An understanding of the stages in aesthetic and occlusal planning of the ceramic case in clinical practice.
- Be able to undertake minimally invasive, biologically controlled ceramic preparations for veneer, crown, conventional bridge, adhesive bridge and onlay ceramics.
- Be able to undertake successful temporisation.
- Be able to implement successful bonding protocols in clinical practice.
- An understanding of scanning and CAD/CAM in all ceramic provision.
- Knowledge of the role of ceramics in the rehabilitation of tooth wear and clinical stages.
